Silent Auction in Aid of the Friends of the L.M. Montgomery Institute

Books on display at the 2012 Conference Sient AuctionAnd... SOLD!!!

At the 2012 conference, the Friends hosted a very successful silent auction. Conference attendees were delighted with the wide variety of items available and some friendly bidding wars definitely took place! The silent auction is back again for this year's conference, "L.M. Montgomery and War." In honour of the theme of the conference, the definition for items being assembled for auction has been broadened to include not only Montgomery-related items but memorabilia, ephemera and collectibles connected to the First World War as well.

Auction items will be on display throughout the conference with bidding closing on Saturday. Winning bids will be announced at the conference banquet. A iive auction will take place at the banquet as well. Highly entertaining, this auction already has some wonderful items to present that you won't want to miss. Both conference attendees and members of the general public are welcome to bid on the items.
