Front of the evaporator

This is the front of the evaporator. It looks like any normal stove, and it works the same as a stove, being that you put wood in it to create heat. The thing about this stove is that it is very long, and what happens is the wood that is burnt goes all the way to the back end, then the fire creates heat. The heat in turn heats the pipes in the back end of the evaporator. Above these pipes is the big tank that holds all the sap that has to be boiled. The pipes heat up and the sap evaporates onto the next part of the evaporator. The sap boils all the way to the next four compartments. Only softwood is used in this process to heat the evaporator.
