Personal Accounts and Memories of the Cornwall General Store

The Social Spot
“Well.  Dad would go down every day pretty near with the tractor.   He would go down to the store and in the evenings they used to go down.  It would be kind of a social thing.  Not so much when I was growing up but, he was younger that was the social gathering place was at the store.  When I was a kid it was Hazen Howard who owned the store and then later it was Andrew Gass.”12  – Contributed by Barb MacFarlane
