North Lake Hall
One of the earliest built halls known to the Eastern Kings area was the North Lake Hall, which was erected in the year of 1876. In building the new hall the work was done by the two churches in the North Lake community collectively; whether it was providing lumber, performing the labour and covering the expenses, all was shared equally. In earlier years the hall was mostly used for preaching Sunday school and similar lectures, which were put on by Ezra Fraser for many years. It was located between the end of the North Side Road and Elmira Road.
The hall was also used as the main meeting place for the Grand Lodge- Independent Order of Good Templars of P.E.I. this was made possible by Wallace Fraser Sr. who, in 1905 became the groups Provincial Organizer. The North Lake Hall was later lost to a fire.
