John Fraser's Store

John Fraser’s Store on Munn’s Road[i]:

After leaving his job as a manager for International Harvesting Co. in 1921, John A. Fraser decided to move back to PEI.  He opened a small store and began supplying such products as fertilizer, flour, pulverized lime and farm seed to local farmers. It was only then that he later decided to open up as a grocery store, advertising such items as: groceries, gasoline, Cedar shingles and Cedar posts. After his passing the store was then moved to Red Point and was managed by his daughter Mrs. Elsie Calvin Kennedy, for quite some time before deciding to close the doors for good.
