Elliott's Grocery and Pro Hardware

Rusty & Linda Elliott’s General Store in Bothwell[i]:

On the day of June 18th 1985 Russell and Donna Elliott a retired couple from Campbell Ville Ontario, purchased the Mossey and Sons general merchant store from brothers Bernard and Freeman Mossey. Elliott’s is the only general store in the Eastern Kings area that was able to stand the test of changing times, still operating in the Bothwell area near the corner of East Point road and Munns road. Already quite fond of the Eastern Kings area after spending many summers here at their cottage, Russell and Donna decided that it would be the perfect retirement. In 1996 the store was purchased by their son Rusty, who with the help of his wife Linda continues to do an exceptional job in operating the local business, always finding time for friendly service and great conversation.

Offering a large array of grocery items, Elliott’s has everything from canned pop to fluorescent light bulbs. If you’re looking for the right tool for the job just check out Elliot’s hardware selection where you are bound to find what you are looking for. They also have a great selection of new release movies for those days when the weather isn’t cooperating. Elliott’s store also operates services such as gasoline pumps, key cutting and the local postal office. A more modern space now, but still it has that old time feeling of familiarity and kindness.
